Characteristics of the DEGAS-FATIMA Hybrid setup for the DESPEC program at NUSTAR

We report on a study of the performance DEGAS-FATIMA Hybrid setup through GEANT4 simulations using accurate geometries all detector components. give details most compact configuration considered for this when maximizing efficiencies both DEGAS (HpGe) and FATIMA (LaBr3(Ce)) systems with respect to heavy-ion implantation β-decay station.
